Rules

Welcome to WeedTV.com — a community built around a shared passion for cannabis culture, education, lifestyle, and media. To keep our platform a safe, elevated, and enjoyable space for everyone, we ask all users to vibe with these Community Rules.

These rules apply everywhere on WeedTV: videos, Bits, live streams, series, channels, comments, chatrooms, direct messages, reviews and ratings (strains, products, dispensaries), profiles, event and cause listings, and anything you post, stream, or send. They work alongside our Terms of Service, Privacy Policy, and DMCA Policy. They are inspired by the community standards of platforms like YouTube, Meta (Facebook & Instagram), X (Twitter), and Reddit, adapted for a cannabis-focused community.

Here is the breakdown of how we roll:

The WeedTV Philosophy

WeedTV.com is a network of content, channels, and discussions created for and powered by you. Whether you are here to share your latest grow, review a strain, debate policy, host a live session, or just connect with fellow enthusiasts, we want you to find your home here.

While cannabis culture is diverse and you might not agree with every perspective on the site, no channel, chatroom, or comment section should be used as a weapon. WeedTV is about creating a sense of belonging, not tearing others down. Everyone on our platform has a right to privacy and safety.

Our culture is shaped by you—through your uploads, streams, comments, and interactions—and by our moderators who keep things running smoothly. Please respect the vibe, follow the rules, and help us maintain a positive environment.

Who Can Be Here

Rule 1: You Must Be 21+ (Age & Eligibility)

WeedTV is an adult, cannabis-focused platform. You must be at least 21 years old (or the legal age for cannabis in your jurisdiction, whichever is higher) to create an account, upload content, go live, or participate. We have a zero-tolerance policy for any sexual, abusive, suggestive, or exploitative content involving minors. Any predatory, inappropriate, or harmful behavior targeting minors will result in an immediate, permanent ban and referral to law enforcement (in line with YouTube, Meta, and Reddit child-safety standards).

Treat People Right

Rule 2: Remember the Human

WeedTV is a space for community, not for attacking others. Everyone has the right to enjoy this platform free from harassment, bullying, stalking, and threats of violence. We have zero tolerance for hate speech or discrimination that attacks or dehumanizes people based on race, ethnicity, national origin, religion, disability, disease, age, sexual orientation, gender, or gender identity.

Rule 3: No Harassment, Bullying, or Threats

Do not target individuals or groups with abusive, degrading, or intimidating behavior—in comments, chatrooms, whispers, direct messages, reviews, or live chat. This includes coordinated pile-ons, repeated unwanted contact, sexual harassment, and encouraging others to harass. Threats of violence or wishing harm on others are never allowed.

Rule 4: Respect Privacy (No Doxxing)

Do not share anyone’s personal or confidential information—such as home address, phone number, private documents, or location—without their explicit consent. We strictly prohibit sharing, or threatening to share, intimate, private, or sexually explicit media of others (non-consensual intimate imagery).

Content Standards

Rule 5: Keep Adult & Sensitive Content in Its Lane

WeedTV is 21+, but it is not an adult-entertainment site. No pornography or sexually explicit content. Gratuitously graphic, violent, or shocking material is not allowed. Content showing real, serious violence, gore, animal cruelty, or self-harm is prohibited. If your content is mature but permitted (e.g., medical procedures, harvest footage), label and tag it appropriately so users can navigate WeedTV predictably (similar to YouTube and Instagram sensitive-content tagging).

Rule 6: No Dangerous, Harmful, or Misleading Content

Don’t post content that encourages dangerous or illegal acts, promotes self-harm or suicide, or spreads harmful health misinformation. When sharing dosing, extraction, growing, or medical claims, be honest and don’t present unverified claims as fact. Content that could endanger public health or safety may be removed.

Rule 7: Label Your Content Correctly

Help users navigate WeedTV predictably. Use accurate titles, categories, and tags for your videos, Bits, series, and live streams. Don’t use misleading thumbnails, titles, or metadata (“clickbait”) to trick people into viewing or clicking. Flag content that contains graphic imagery or highly sensitive material.

Authenticity & Platform Integrity

Rule 8: Keep It Authentic & Relevant (No Spam)

Participate genuinely in the channels, chatrooms, and discussions that interest you. Do not spam, flood feeds or chat, post repetitive comments, or run disruptive bots. Prohibited manipulation includes fake views, fake likes, fake followers, vote/review manipulation, engagement-baiting schemes, and using multiple accounts to evade limits or amplify content (mirrors YouTube spam & Meta/X platform-manipulation policies).

Rule 9: Don’t Impersonate

You don’t need to use your government name, but do not intentionally mislead the community by pretending to be another individual, creator, brand, dispensary, or entity in a deceptive manner. Impersonating WeedTV staff or moderators is strictly prohibited.

Rule 10: Honest Reviews & Ratings

Reviews and ratings for strains, products, and dispensaries must be genuine and based on real experience. No fake, paid-for-without-disclosure, incentivized, or retaliatory reviews. Don’t review your own business or a competitor’s to manipulate ratings. Review bombing and coordinated rating attacks are not allowed.

Cannabis, Commerce & Compliance

Rule 11: Keep It Legal & Compliance-Minded

While we love cannabis, you must follow the law. Do not post illegal content. Strictly no direct soliciting, selling, advertising prices for, or facilitating illegal or unregulated transactions of cannabis or any other controlled substances. WeedTV is a place to share, educate, review, and entertain—not an open marketplace for hand-to-hand sales. Licensed merchants and dispensaries may maintain listings and link out in accordance with applicable laws and our Terms; they remain responsible for their own legal compliance, age-gating, and advertising restrictions.

Rule 12: No Other Regulated, Dangerous, or Illegal Goods

No content facilitating the sale of firearms, hard/illicit drugs, pharmaceuticals, counterfeit goods, stolen items, or other regulated or illegal products. No instructions for manufacturing weapons, explosives, or other items that can cause serious harm.

Rule 13: Respect Intellectual Property

Only upload, stream, or post content you created or have the rights to use. Don’t infringe copyrights, trademarks, or other rights. Repeat infringement will lead to removal and account action. See our DMCA Policy to file or respond to a takedown.

Rule 14: TokeCoin, Tips & Monetization Integrity

Features like TokeCoin, tips, rewards, and creator monetization are built on trust. Do not exploit, defraud, or game these systems—no fake engagement to farm rewards, no chargeback or tipping fraud, no laundering, and no using monetization tools to fund or facilitate prohibited activity. Creators must comply with our monetization terms and all applicable financial and tax laws.

Protect the Platform

Rule 15: Don’t Break WeedTV

Do not attempt to hack, scrape, overload, reverse-engineer, disrupt, or otherwise interfere with the technical operations, servers, security, or normal functionality of WeedTV.com. Don’t probe for vulnerabilities or bypass moderation, bans, or rate limits.

Reporting & Moderation

If you see something that breaks these rules, please report it using the in-app reporting tools or by reaching us through our Contact page. Reports are reviewed by our moderation team. Moderators may act on content and accounts to keep the community safe. Don’t abuse the reporting system with false or retaliatory reports.

Enforcement

If you choose to break the rules, our team and admins have a range of responses, applied based on severity and history, including:

  • A Friendly Warning: Asking you nicely to cut it out.
  • A Firm Warning: Asking you less nicely.
  • Content Removal: Taking down offending videos, Bits, streams, posts, reviews, or comments.
  • Feature Restrictions: Temporarily or permanently removing privileges such as commenting, chatting, live streaming, messaging, reviewing, or monetization.
  • Channel Actions: Restricting or shutting down channels or chatrooms that repeatedly violate these guidelines.
  • Suspension or Ban: Temporarily or permanently disabling your account.
  • Escalation: Referral to law enforcement where required by law (e.g., child safety, credible threats).

Serious violations—such as content involving minors, credible threats, or non-consensual intimate imagery—may result in an immediate permanent ban without prior warning.

Appeals

If you believe we got it wrong, you may appeal a moderation decision through our Contact page. We’ll review appeals in good faith, but repeated or bad-faith appeals may be declined.

The Bottom Line: WeedTV is what we make of it together. Please respect the letter—and the spirit—of these rules so we can keep the community growing high and strong. We may update these rules from time to time as the platform grows; continued use of WeedTV means you accept the current version.
